ichthyodorulite Definition

A rare mineral of the pyroxenoid group, usually found in microcline felsites and pegmatites. It is named after its resemblance to the scales of fish (ichthyos meaning 'fish' in Greek) and the pebble form of its crystals (dorulite), often with a fish-like luster.
